A unique museum in the heart of Jerusalem
The historic Hechal Shlomo, a landmark building in the heart of Jerusalem, holds the Wolfson Museum of Jewish Art. The museum will impress you with one of the most significant Judaica collections in the world, including items from the Second Temple period and to present times, from various Jewish communities all around the world. Additionally to touring the museum, you'll see items from the Ramchal Synagogue, including the Holy Ark and a18th century podium from Italy. The gallery in the foyer features contemporary Israeli art and a beautiful view of Jerusalem from a panoramic observatory on the museum's roof.

You can explore here the unique story of a synagogue from18th century Italy, whose treasures tell the history of the Jewish people, enjoy a panoramic view of the city, and a contemporary art gallery.
The advantage of hosting an event in a museum is having meaningful content and experiences incorporated into your celebrations. Hechal Shlomo accommodating complexes include: The synagogue On the entrance floor of Hechal Shlomo, there's the "Renanim" synagogue. It functions as a regular place of worship. The Holy Ark and the pulpit of the synagogue are from the 18th century Italy and were excavated and brought to Israel by the Ramchal (Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto) from the city Padua. There are ten colorful, magnificent stained glass windows decorating the synagogue, crafted by the British artist David Hillman. The synagogue holds 140 seats in the main hall and 60 in the women's section (Ezrat Nashim).
You can hold your private ceremony in the synagogue, and add your special day to the countless special historic moments that took place in the ancient synagogue during the last two centuries.
The museum On the third floor of Hechal Shlomo, you'll find The Museum of Jewish Art. If you want to take your guests by surprise, become their tour guide in the museum!
