What really sets the place apart is that everything is made in-house, from the pasta to the bread to the pastries. Cafe Kadosh was voted number one in an article on JPost Online "Top 5 Coziest Coffee Shops."

Cafe Kadosh was opened in Jerusalem in 1967 by Meir Kadosh, who has since passed the business on to his son, Itzik, and Itzik’s wife, Keren, who currently run both the regular kitchen and the pastry kitchen upstairs. The cafe is designed in a neat, classic European style that makes for a decidedly old-school atmosphere, and, as Keren says, is a “warm, crowded, homey place.”

Expensive but tasty. The food was quite good but it was around 20 euros for a plate of pasta at lunch. Tap water was offered. Service was a bit cold but efficient. Decoration is good and has a great vibe.
