For two days, The Sultan's Pool will transform into a massive concert bridging East and West, bringing together diverse styles, voices, and stories. All of this unfolds on one stage for unforgettable evenings featuring original performances and special arrangements, accompanied by the Jerusalem East and West Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Tom Cohen.
After a long period of security tension and uncertainty, the need for a new reality - one of human connection, music, culture, and hope - is stronger than ever. This is an opportunity to be reminded of the power of music and art to create moments of light, even after dark and challenging times.
In previous years, the festival has become one of the most prominent cultural events in Jerusalem and Israel, featuring original productions, dozens of musicians from the Jerusalem East and West Orchestra, and one-of-a-kind collaborations between artists from across the musical spectrum.
So... we'll see you again this year at The Sultan's Pool:
- Day 1 (Wednesday, June 24) – "East":
An evening entirely dedicated to Oriental and Mediterranean music. Sharing the stage with the Jerusalem East and West Orchestra will be: Moshik Afia, Lior Narkis, Miri Mesika, and Mehmet Daş (the Turkish singer living between Tel Aviv and Istanbul). Four major voices in the local and international scene will unite on one stage to connect tradition with contemporary emotion. - Day 2 (Thursday, June 25) – "West":
An evening of Israeli rock! For the first time on a single stage, joining the Jerusalem East and West Orchestra will be: Tislam, HaYehudim, Monica Sex, and Shabak Samech. Four iconic bands representing different generations of Israeli music will bring together timeless classics with a raw, live, and kicking energy.
