The Hutzot HaYotzer Festival, Jerusalem's premier summer tourist and artistic attraction, returns to the Sultan's Pool complex, facing the Tower of David and at the foot of the Old City walls. This year, initiated by the Jerusalem Municipality and the Ariel Company, the festival introduces a new concept: "In the Hands of the Maker" - a large-scale cultural celebration for the entire family, bringing together original Israeli creations, contemporary art, sounds, and flavors.Israeli Arts and Crafts Fair Approximately 100 Israeli artists and creators, from the north to the south, will showcase their finest works at the festival. The fair will offer a rich mosaic of creative fields, including: painting, ceramics, goldsmithing and jewelry making, weaving and textiles, Judaica, toys, woodwork, and mixed-media art.Debut Exhibition: "In the Hands of the Maker – Wood" For the first time at the festival, a site-specific contemporary art exhibition will be presented, initiating a new tradition: each year, the festival will be dedicated to the artistic exploration of a single raw material. This year's debut exhibition is dedicated to wood and will feature about 20 spectacular art installations created specifically for the festival's open space.Culinary Complex by Top Chefs The artistic experience is accompanied by a celebration of flavors in a vast and diverse culinary complex. The area will host street food stalls by top chefs and leading restaurants, offering a rich menu suitable for every palate and the whole family. All food stalls operating in the complex are Kosher.Atmosphere, Music, and Street Theater Throughout the festival days, the complex's alleys will come alive with colorful street theater performances and live shows by musical ensembles, providing visitors with a complete and unforgettable cultural experience.The festival is open every evening (except Fridays) between 17:00 – 23:00, and on Saturday nights from 21:00 until midnight, at the Sultan's Pool.
