Jerusalem’s Botanical Gardens is thrilled to host Israel’s first-ever "Lotus Festival and Indian Culture." A colorful celebration of the spectacular lotus bloom, culture, music, and cuisine

The lotus grows out of murky water and mud, yet despite its surroundings, it blooms clean, open, and beautiful. Every year, travelers from across the globe fly thousands of kilometers to the Far East just to witness the lotus blossom - widely considered one of nature's most spectacular sights and a universal symbol of beauty, purity, and eternal life.

In Israel, the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is the only place where you can experience this unique and breathtaking display, making it one of the highlights of the Jerusalem summer.

During the festival, the Botanical Gardens will transform into a vibrant, experiential complex inspired by India and the Silk Road, offering a variety of activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy live Indian music and dance performances, Bollywood dancing, authentic food courts, henna tattoo stations, sari and traditional clothing dressing corners, guided tours, and lakeside yoga.
The event will also feature creative workshops, a photography competition, live Friday afternoon DJ sets, and countless other magical experiences - all set in the heart of Jerusalem's greenest oasis.

I had a lovely pleasant walk to here from Stay Inn. Took a while through Sacher and Rehavia Park. Was a lovely day so the walk seemed worth it. Cheap entry (I think 25 shekels) - make sure you ask for a map. Good for a wa...
