The Maccabiah 2026 Opening Ceremony

The 2026 Maccabiah Games, which will take place in Israel between July 1 and July 13, are the most extensive and significant Jewish sporting event of our time. Under the slogan "More Than Ever," the Games take on profound significance, serving as a powerful symbol of solidarity, hope, and the deepening of the bond between Diaspora Jewry and the State of Israel.

The Games will kick off with a festive and unforgettable ceremony at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem. The evening will feature a spectacular artistic program with the participation of hundreds of dancers and celebrities from Israel and abroad, integrating advanced visual effects and impressive pyrotechnic displays. The highlight of the event will be the traditional parade of delegations, where approximately 10,000 athletes, arriving in Israel from about 50 countries across the globe specifically for the Games, will proudly march.

The evening will be hosted by Assi Azar and Anna Aronov, and will feature unique performances by Israel's leading lineup of artists: Netta Barzilai, Daniela Gilboa, Itay Levy, Anna Zak, Idan Raichel, Yuval Rafael, and more surprises.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on Channel 12 (Keshet), as well as on international broadcasting platforms.
