During the tour we will pass by the special sites of the Bukharim neighborhood and connect them to the themes of the Selichot of the month of Elul.
We will visit the Palace for the Messiah and tell what lies behind the palace's name, we will visit the Mussaioff Synagogue and tell about Rabbi Shlomo Mussaioff and the Western Wall stones that were integrated into the synagogue, we will see the famous Hezdim Synagogue and the story of the special connection of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef to the place and the unique Selichot customs there, we will see the courtyard of Hacham Adonia the Cohen and tell about the Persian Jews of Mashhad and their Selichot customs, and we will end the tour at the "Or Hachaim" yeshiva in the neighborhood, where you can experience the Selichot ceremony held there.
At each station of the tour we will sing together a piyyut connected to the place, and you will even hear the shofar blast.
